I’m a consultant on the Programmes and Projects team. Born and raised on the West Coast of Ireland, I come from a family of entrepreneurs. From a young age I decided that wasn’t for me, so headed to college to study business and specialise in human resources. After working for a number of large multinational companies in both Ireland and England, in recruitment and HR, I took some time out to focus on family and my other passions.
It was during this time that I retrained in fitness, thinking that maybe I could teach a couple of classes a week at our local community centre, how wrong I was! Very soon my little business began to grow and I needed to start hiring people. Fast-forward ten years and I’ve just sold a very successful fitness business with a staff of thirteen and moved to Wellington. So maybe that entrepreneurial gene was in my blood after all.
Outside of work you can usually find me in the gym doing CrossFit or walking with my dog. I’ve done many crazy challenges in my life including four marathons, three ultra marathons (100k), various obstacle courses (love a bit of mud!), parachute jumps, abseiling and of course raising two lovely and also very active children.
